Hone Your Communication Style and Effectiveness Across Multiple Generations

Date: May 23, 2017 Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Session 1 of 4
Event Description Where once there were three or four generations in a workplace, soon there may be six or seven. Companies that thrive will rise to the challenge and learn to lead across multiple generations while integrating the knowledge, skills and abilities of their workforce.

This workshop, presented by Maggie Owens, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP and the owner of Human Capital Consultants, LLC, is the first in the Summer Leadership Series. In it Owens will enhance your communication skills to help you expand your influence and put your best foot forward in every interaction. You will gain self-awareness into your own communication style and preferences, develop an understanding of others, and learn ways to adapt and connect. Through various activities, you will identify habits that keep you stuck and practice new skills to improve decision making, resolve conflict, enhance commitment, increase productivity, and grow relationships.

Cost is $139 per person. Contact RTEC at (605) 668-5700 with questions and register at sdmanufacturing.com/events.
