The OSHA 10-Hour, which will be offered at the Regional Technical Education Center, Inc. (RTEC) in Yankton, is a great introduction to construction safety. Facilitators will identify safety and health principles that help you meet OSHA requirements.
This construction industry training, to held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, is designed for entry-level, field and craft workers. During the training, special emphasis will placed on areas in construction that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. Participants also will be briefed on basic instructional approaches, improving compliance communication, and training at the work site.
