1. Turn off Hwy 52 onto Toe Road.
2. Continue on Toe Road past the beach and turn left into the boat launch parking area.
3. If you enter Chief White Crane State Recreation Area campground, you have gone too far.
Description
Join us for the final event in the Explore Yankton series: a Kayak Clinic on Lake Yankton!
Participants will learn basic paddling techniques, water safety, and get a chance to explore the river firsthand. All equipment is provided, and no prior experience is necessary. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, have fun on the water, and connect with other interns & new hires in the area!
***Attendees must review the MNRR Participant Checklist and sign the Visitor’s Acknowledgement of Risks in order to participate. Below is a link to the form. Please print a copy, sign it, and bring it with you on the day of the event. The form also contains a map and directions to Lake Yankton.
