Description
The Yankton Community Library is excited to host a Kentucky Derby Fascinator Craft! Are you wondering what a fascinator is? Fascinators are large, decorative headpieces that can be attached to a band or clip—think of Kate Middleton and other members of the British Royal Family. If you don’t want to be without a fascinator at your Kentucky Derby party, join us to make one of your own!
The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, (the day of the big race!) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the library meeting room and is open to teens and adults (ages 14 and up). We will provide supplies, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. Drop in to make your fascinator and learn a little trivia about the Kentucky Derby! We hope to see you there!
