June Feed Your Mind at the Mead Museum
"Photographing Yankton, SD" presented by Crystal Mensch

Mead Museum Executive Director Crystal Mensch has researched, catalogued and utilized the work of Yankton photographers over the past 20 years. She will be sharing historical information about their work, as well as explaining how much photography has impacted history since the early Dakota Territorial times. This Feed Your Mind will feature several historic Yankton images and use them to piece together history. Feed Your Mind events are held on the first Friday of each month, and there is a free-will donation to attend. The one-hour event will be held on the second floor of the Mead Building, 82 Mickelson Dr in Yankton, SD.

NextWave Network is proud to host its First Annual Conference on Thursday, June 11 from 1–5 PM. As the Yankton area’s young professionals group, NextWave is dedicated to connecting, developing, and engaging emerging leaders in our community, and this event is designed to do just that.

Join us for an afternoon of growth and connection, featuring a lineup of speakers from 1–4 PM covering topics like leadership development, financial wellness, and mental health, including strategies for managing stress. Attendees will also hear from local service clubs about meaningful ways to get involved and make an impact in the Yankton community.
