Our Keynote Speaker: Brent Comstock
Entrepreneur. Student. Innovator.

Brent grew up in rural Nebraska determined to revamp negative views placed on rural communities. The town he grew up in has two stoplights, no Starbucks, and is primarily dominated by agriculture. After a series of business ventures, he established a creative media & technology company, BCom Solutions in his hometown of Auburn, Nebraska, population 3,385. Seven years later, that venture has experienced a variety of success – from international clients to hundreds of customers. While on the ride of his life in the start-up world, he’s also a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He loves reading about start-ups, serves as an adviser and team member of several start-up ventures, and loves anything out of the ordinary. Feb 21    Microsoft Excel Level II & Other Computer Classes

If you have been waiting for an opportunity to advance your computer skills, you'll want to take advantage of the Microsoft Word 2013 and Microsoft Excel 2013 courses which will be offered at RTEC in the coming weeks.

Whether you'd like to learn Word and Excel basics or you're ready to tackle the more challenging tasks, you'll find the instruction you need. For your convenience, each course features multiple levels that are scheduled approximately a week apart during daytime hours. That allows you time to apply the concepts you have learned and the chance to move up to the next level while the material is still fresh in your mind. It also gives you a chance to seek answers to questions or issues that you might have encountered.

Although Excel Level I was completed on Feb. 14, it will be offered again in March-April 2017 when the next round of computer classes are expected to be held. However, if you have some knowledge of Excel, there is still room available in the Level II course which is slated to begin on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017!

New dates for the Word Level I and Level II courses have been finalized. They will be presented on Thursday, Mar. 9 (Level I) and Thursday, Mar. 16, (Level II). An Excel Level III course is expected to be offered in the near future as well. If you are interested, we'd love to add your name to an interest list and contact you when the date is finalized.

The cost of each course level is $95 plus tax. Please contact RTEC at (605) 668-5700 and register today! A minimum of three students is needed to run the class, but classes are limited to 10 students.
