The Yankton Community Leadership Program is a comprehensive curriculum to analyze characteristics associated with local government, organizations, and leadership and economic trends. This course helps attendees understand the unique challenges and issues that face our community and encouragement toward participation in future growth and development. |

| Aug 25 - Aug 26 Yankton's Best Tri Corporate Cup Challenge |
This is a triathlon consisting of a 1/4 mile swim (in Lewis and Clark lake), 14-mile bike ride (uphill, east on Hwy. 52 into Yankton and south into NE on Hwy 81 and west on Hwy 121, (across Gavins Point Dam), and 5K run along Lewis and Clark Lake.
Packet pickup is Friday night from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lewis and Clark Lake at the shelter by Hobie Cat beach/Marina Parking lot. the race site or 7 am to 7:30 am on race day.

Registration for the individual sprint triathlon goes from April 9 to Aug. 2 for $50. After August 2 the price goes up to $60.
Registration for the team relay event is from April 9 to August 25 for $90.
