Sep 29    Photography of Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Church Architecture in Nebraska and Arkansas Reception

Mount Marty College will be hosting an art reception on Sept. 29 from 2-4 p.m. for the show, "Photography of Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired Church Architecture in Nebraska and Arkansas" by Christopher Buschelman. The show will consist of 35mm and digital photographs.

From the first moment Chris gripped an SLR camera, he knew photography would become a passion of his. Since his first roll was developed years ago, he has had the opportunity to show others how he sees the world. He has studied all expressions of photography, specializing in landscape, architecture, macro, and portraits.

As Chris began falling in love with the medium and fine-tuning the craft, he discovered photography ran in his family. His grandfather, who passed away years before he was born, worked meticulously to master his skill of the fine art. Now he is passing his knowledge and expertise to his daughter who started taking photos at the age of three. Together they are working to grow and share our love for this wonderful Art.

People always tell Chris he has a good eye for photography, he always responds, "it's not my eye, it's my attention to composition." He is constantly working on his craft and doing what he loves. With over fifteen years of photographic experience, he uses long shutter speeds and off camera flash to capture his signature style through fine art and portraiture. Which allows him to add highlights and shadows  that creates more dimension in the photos
